Whether it is our favourite spicy Biryani or Chicken Karhai full of juicy tomatoes and chillies, it is always a treat to binge eat these lip smacking dishes. Keeping this in mind, this week You! collaborates with Syed Ali, Executive Chef Karachi Mariott Hotel, who shares his yummy recipe of ‘Butter Chicken’.

Ingredients

Chicken thigh 250gm

Ginger garlic paste 25gm

Onion 100gm

Tomato 100gm

Dhaighi mirch powder 5gm

Corriander powder 5gm

Cumin powder 5gm

Fresh cream 100ml

Cashew nut 50gm

Tomato paste 40gm

Butter 50gm

Method

  • Marinate chicken with dhaighi mirch, salt, corriander and cumin powder and keep aside.
  • Heat pan, add oil, then add tomato paste onion, tomato ginger garlic paste and cashew nuts and cook until soft than blend.
  • Grill chicken on barbecue grill and add in to gravy until chicken is fully cooked.
  • Finish with cooking cream and kasuri methi.
