This year’s Ramazan is a long one. This is not only because of the long hours but also because of the scorching summer heat. So, after having fasted on a hot summer’s day, we crave something refreshing and fulfilling to quench our thirst at iftar. And, what better drink to have then a nice cold glass of milk sharbat. With the heat showing no signs of slowing down, it is important to incorporate some dairy products such as milk and yogurt in iftar and sehri meals to survive the month.

Recently, Asna Soban, CEO of United Global Solutions (UGS), organised a Ramazan product launch festival at a local hotel where socialites, media, fashionistas and families thronged to attend. The festival was inaugurated by Sohail Shams, CEO of United Marine Agencies (UMA) and Mrs Rahila Sohail. Well-decorated stalls were set up exhibiting a wide variety of products and designer clothes at the festival. Fashionable attire, jewellery, food and milk shakes were what the exciting evening was all about. From the brand new organic milk to mouth-watering delicacies by ‘Kitchen Corporation’, there was something exciting for attendees of all ages. While guests were offered ice-cold milk shakes to beat the heat, ‘Kitchen Corporation’ - a UGS company that is a full service catering company offering quality meals prepared using fresh local ingredients at reasonable prices - served them with a wide variety of savouries to munch on while they shopped. Also, present at the occasion were COO UGS, Soban Nazir; designer of Inshal Creations Ambreena Rehan and jewellery designer, Rehan Ahmed. One of the highlights of the festival was the launch of a milk product. The product boasts of it being absolutely free from hormones and injections coming from purely organic fed buffaloes which are supervised by professional staff around the clock.

“It’s a great beginning to a marvellous future. We will strive to give our customers the best products keeping in mind their health and well-being,” said Asna Soban.

Meanwhile, Inshal Creations had whipped up a gorgeous collection comprising the latest trends in fashion that ranged over from tastefully worked ensembles to cotton wraps. Moreover, jewellery by Rehan Ahmed was another attraction at the festival. A memorable event that was thoroughly enjoyed by everyone!
