Cooking oil 2 tbsp
Onion (chopped) 1 cup
Garlic (chopped) 1 tbsp
Boneless chicken (small cubes) 250g
Green chilli (chopped) 1 tbsp
Himalayan pink salt 2 tsp or to taste
Dried parsley ½ tsp
Red chilli (crushed) 1 tsp
Dried oregano 1 and ½ tsp
Black pepper powder ½ tsp
Mushrooms (chopped) 1 cup
Cream ½ cup
Fresh coriander (chopped) 2 tbsp
Warm water ¾ cup
Caster sugar ½ tbsp
Instant yeast 2 and ½ tsp
Butter (melted) 50g
Egg 1
Milk 1-2 tbsp
All-purpose flour (sifted) 3 cups
Milk powder 3 tbsp
Cooking oil 1 tsp
* In a frying pan, add cooking oil, onion, garlic and sauté for 1-2 minutes.
* Add chicken and mix well until it changes colour.
* Add green chilli, pink salt, dried parsley, red chilli crushed, dried oregano, black pepper powder, mix well and cook on medium flame for 2-3 minutes.
* Add mushrooms and mix well, cover and cook on low flame for 4-5 minutes.
* On low flame, add cream, fresh coriander, mix well and cook for 1-2 minutes and set aside.
* In a bowl, add warm water, caster sugar, instant yeast and mix well, cover and let it proof for 5 minutes.
* Add pink salt, melted butter, egg and whisk well.
* Add all-purpose flour, milk powder, mix well and knead until soft dough is formed.
* Grease with cooking oil, cover and let it proof for 1 hour at warm place.
* Sprinkle dry flour and knead until soft dough is formed.
* Divide the dough in two portions, take one portion, sprinkle dry flour and roll out with the help of rolling pin 1-2 inches.
* Cut the rolled dough in 6 triangular portions with a cutter then make cuts on each inner corner of triangle.
* Add 1-2 tbsp of prepared filling on the broader side of each triangle and roll up, apply water on edges and seal both ends by applying water.
* Place all the buns in baking tray lined with baking paper, cover with kitchen towel and let them proof for 20 minutes.
* Apply egg wash and bake in preheated oven at 180°C for 3-5 minutes.
* Air fry at 150°C for 15-18 minutes check in between.
* After baking or air fry, apply melted butter on buns and serve. Makes 1-2.
