US TALK

What does success mean to you?

Success is when you are able to inspire other people.

Something you learned early in your career which helped you become a better actor?

I learned that with dedication and hard work you can achieve a lot.

Did you get any formal education for this career? If not, how did you learn the craft of acting?

No, I didn’t. Our seniors have been a source of learning and inspiration for me. Plus, I have learned so much from my life experiences.

And, when it comes to acting, I think understanding the nature of the character fully is the key to great performances.

Do you believe good looks and connections are the only things that make a star?

Connections may get you an easy entry into the industry and help you get few projects, but to sustain and thrive, only talent and passion can work.

How do you deal with self-doubt?

You doubt yourself when you don’t value yourself. I repeatedly remind myself that no matter what the situation is, I can handle it.

Three pieces of advice for aspiring actors

Never underestimate yourself

Be passionate

Don’t be egotistical
