Was at the centre of a controversy after being accused by viewers of including a scene normalizing child grooming. The studio then apologized and recut the film.
Is director Gosnell’s fourth talking dog film, after Scooby-Doo (2002), Scooby-Doo 2: Monsters Unleashed (2004), and Beverly Hills Chihuahua (2008).
