  • Had a budget of $5.5 million; has made nearly $23 million in around a month.
  • Has received extremely negative reviews from critics, who panned it for being stale and uninspired.
  • Was at the centre of a controversy after being accused by viewers of including a scene normalizing child grooming. The studio then apologized and recut the film.
  • Is director Gosnell’s fourth talking dog film, after Scooby-Doo (2002), Scooby-Doo 2: Monsters Unleashed (2004), and Beverly Hills Chihuahua (2008).
