Us: What does success mean to you?

Naeil Naveed: Success for me is all about finding that inner peace, having solid relationships, vibing with positive people, and living comfortably.

Us: What do you go after: fame, money, or success?

NN: Success! Fame and money can come and go, but when you master the art of rising from the ashes, you’ll always bounce back no matter what life throws at you.

Us: What is something you learned in your career that helped you become a good actor?

NN: Acting, much like medicine, is a constant learning game. It’s all about taking direction and growing with each role. Both fields need composure and focus under pressure, so you show up and deliver. Interacting with patients has really honed my empathy and ability to tap into real emotions, making my characters feel more authentic.

Us: What’s the most challenging thing about this career?

NN: Whether you're acting, practicing medicine, or in any field, handling scrutiny, expectations, and performance pressure is a huge challenge. Juggling personal life with professional demands in high-stress situations can feel overwhelming. Plus, keeping up with trends, new techniques, and industry standards takes a lot of hustle.

Us: How did you carve your niche in the showbiz industry?

NN: By staying true to my strengths, focusing on continuous growth, refining my skills, building connections with the right people, and being consistent in delivering quality work.

Us: Do you believe good looks and connections make a star?

NN: Not at all! They might open doors, but they won’t secure long-term success. Real stardom is all about talent, hard work, persistence, and charisma. Connections can help you get in, but it's your skills and dedication that keep you in the game.

Us: Who are some of your role models and what do you like about their work?

NN: I admire Sajal Aly for her emotional depth and versatility, Bushra Ansari for her legendary comedic and dramatic chops, and Jawed Sheikh for his long-standing impact on the industry.

Us: How do you deal with self-doubt?

NN: I see challenges as chances to improve and remind myself of my past wins and growth. Learning from role models and mentors helps a ton too. I just keep pushing through, even when things feel uncertain.

Us: How has social media changed things for you?

NN: Social media has totally reinvented the game. It makes it easier to connect with a broader audience and build your personal brand. Artists can showcase their work and vibes beyond traditional media, leading to fresh collabs and visibility. But it’s also a double-edged sword – managing expectations and online presence has become a big part of the job, and that pressure is real.

Us: Do you have any advice for youngsters?

NN: Success comes and goes, but humility keeps you grounded and respected, so don’t rush success. Enjoy the journey, learn from the struggles, and use your feelings to boost your craft.
