Dear Ed,
In the issue of 25 April, I read the cover story ‘Eat right, stay fit’ by Muhammad Khizar Nadeem with interest because I am a bit overweight and nowadays I am trying to eat right to lose those stubborn extra pounds. The article was engaging, relatable and full of practical advice. It was a nice blend of humour and information, with helpful tips. However, it lacked credible sources or data to support the claims. A few brief references to expert advice or studies would have enhanced the article’s credibility. Also, the sentence "Food isn’t just fuel – it’s information for your body" was certainly catchy but somewhat vague without further explanation. Clarifying what this means in terms of biological processes could have made it more meaningful. That said, I appreciate the writer for addressing a topic that needs to be continuously reiterated so that the youth don’t forget the importance of eating healthy and staying fit.

Hey Ed,
I am a longtime reader and used to enjoy the stories and serialized fiction that were once a regular part of the magazine. Lately, I’ve noticed that such stories have become almost non-existent. Please consider bringing them back and including fun articles in every issue to make the magazine more engaging.

Buleda needs examination centres
Dear Editor,
I am writing on behalf of the students and concerned citizens of Buleda. Buleda is a small town in Kech, located at the foot of Hingol National Park. I would like to draw your attention to the serious inconvenience caused by the absence of an examination center in our area. Currently, students are compelled to travel long distances to nearby cities to appear for their examinations. This not only imposes an unnecessary financial burden but also poses safety and health risks, especially for younger students and female candidates.
Buleda is home to a significant number of students who are pursuing their education with great enthusiasm despite limited resources. Establishing an examination center here would greatly ease their hardship, encourage greater participation in education, and promote academic success.
We humbly request the authorities to kindly consider this genuine need and approve the establishment of an examination center in Buleda at the earliest possible opportunity.
We shall be deeply grateful for your favorable consideration.
