Hi Us team,
I have been an avid reader of your magazine for many years. For some reasons I couldn’t continue reading it for some time, but whenever I try to read some of the missed editions, I fail to access them. I can’t find them on Facebook, nor in your archives section. So, please make all your previous issues available, at least on Facebook, so that we can get access to our favourite magazine. I hope you efficiently look into this matter and will try to resolve it as soon as possible.
Best regards,
Kish Mish
Pakistan hockey’s wake-up call
Dear Editor,
Pakistan’s hockey team suffered a shocking defeat to China in the Asian Champions Trophy semifinals. This loss raises concerns about Pakistan’s hockey future and questions their ability to compete at the top level.
The Pakistan team began the tournament strongly, winning their first four matches. Their close game against India, the Paris Olympics bronze medallists, showed promise. However, the loss to China exposed underlying issues that need to be addressed.
Pakistan hockey requires serious introspection. Despite occasional flashes of brilliance, systemic problems hold them back. The Pakistan Hockey Federation and government must prioritize better infrastructure, improved player welfare, and high-performance training centres.
The revival depends on concerted efforts to tackle these challenges. Coach Tahir Zaman’s words echo: “Pakistan needs time to regain its former standing.” When will Pakistan hockey reclaim its lost glory? Only dedicated reforms and consistent effort will tell.
