Hi Ed,

I read Pak sarzameen with a lot of interest as it gave me a good insight into the thoughts of young people. I have one message for them: please don’t lose hope.

This homeland is the result of unimaginable sacrifices by our forefathers. We should do everything we can to make sure we leave it in good hands for the coming generations. Things look dark – and I admit we are probably facing many difficulties that seem insurmountable – but we should also keep one thing in mind: it is always the darkest before the dawn. Keep your hope alive and do what you can in your individual capacities. I am sure we will come out of this situation stronger than before.

Dear Ed,

In the 9 February issue, two writeups were extremely good: Fighting Parkinson’s by Wajiha Imtiaz and the review of Mind Management, Not Time Management by Faris Khaliq.

I was also under the misconception that my father had Parkinson’s when his hand started trembling, but when we went to the doctor, we found out it was a neuro problem, but thankfully, not Parkinson’s. Such articles should be a regular feature of the magazine as they are informative. Keep up the good work!

Dear Editor,

In this week’s issue, I read a letter in which the writer said that Us should not run stories for children as it is a youth magazine. I strongly disagree as I believe children should be exposed to Us as early as possible in order to encourage them to read, as they are the future readers. Please start a section for children.
