The cover story Heal the World by Sameen Amer, in the issue of July 7, was a very interesting read. The answers of the celebs were all good, but I really loved Aisam-ul-Haq Qureshi’s answer. The reason is it was based on his real-life experiences, and he knew exactly what he meant. I am on my college’s volleyball team and all team members are very close, although three of them are from other religions. Aisam is a real hero and is the only Pakistani to have played with Roger Federer. It was great to see him in an Us story.

Hello Editor,

I am a new reader of Us. My favourite sections are ‘Poets’ Corner’ and ‘Comic Relief’. I also like most of the cover stories, but I think the serials are becoming too lengthy. It’s not easy to keep track of what’s happening, so please do something about it. There should be limit on the number of episodes and they should be published weekly, so we can remember what’s happening.

Dear Editor,

I am missing ‘Us on Campus’. It has not been published since Covid years. Now that educational institutions are all open, you should consider re-starting it. I am especially missing the section which was for us to vent out about our issues. Also, the interviews of deans and principals used to be enlightening. Oh, another section that has been missing forever and more is ‘Ground Reality’. Where is Nabeel Naqvi?
