The inspiring Hasan Rizvi

US TALK

From an artist to a fitness enthusiast and now a successful business entrepreneur, Hasan Rizvi is an inspiration for all those youngsters who dream big and then aim to make it happen in life. His success rests in his firm belief in learning and that is evident from his participation in various seminars and summits to hone his skills. With a minor in marketing and major in economics, Hasan has attended numerous courses and training [programs] in the United States, Canada, Singapore, and Dubai to keep him updated with the changing dynamics and trends.

Us: What does success mean to you?

Hasan Rizvi: For me success means gaining the respect of your colleagues, acquiring knowledge from seniors, and inspiring newcomers to strive for excellence.

Us: What is something you learned early on in your career which helped you become a better person?

HR: Something I learned early in my career was to stay focused on my end goal and not let anyone distract me from it. Many people may try to steer you off course, but it’s important to stay on track.

Us: What is the most challenging thing about your career?

HR: The most challenging thing about this career is the constant need to innovate, create great teams, and deliver exceptional results. Staying ahead of the game requires a lot of effort.

Us: Who are some of your role models, and what do you like about their work?

HR: I don’t think seniority or hierarchy matters; a good idea is a good idea, no matter where it comes from.

Us: From all your projects so far, which was the most meaningful to you, and why?

HR: We have worked on many meaningful campaigns, including projects with brands like Blue Band and Tang. These campaigns address real-life issues such as gender bias, income disparity, empowerment, and disabilities. Working on these projects has been a fulfilling experience, and I feel lucky to have gained so much experience and worked with so many different people.

Us: How has social media changed things for you?

HR: Personally, I feel that the entire industry is moving towards social media, and it’s blowing out of proportion. So, social media has changed and helped us grow. I like putting random stuff on my social media to see people smile, get engaged, and enjoy themselves. I feel like there’s a lot of content out there that’s very dark, and we should bring some positivity to it.

Us: Do you believe good looks and connections are the only things that make a star?

HR: Good looks and connections may provide some advantages, but hard work and merit are the real keys to success. In my field, the quality of service and dedication to each brand we work with have been the factors that have contributed to our success.

Us: How do you deal with self-doubt?

HR: I am still working on overcoming self-doubt. When something happens that makes me doubt myself, my family, particularly my sister and wife, play a strong role in helping me reassure myself and steer me back on course.
