POEMS FOREVER
By Emily Dickinson
As imperceptibly as Grief
The Summer lapsed away –
Too imperceptible at last
To seem like Perfidy –
A Quietness distilled
As Twilight long begun,
Or Nature spending with herself
Sequestered Afternoon –
The Dusk drew earlier in –
The Morning foreign shone –
A courteous, yet harrowing Grace,
As Guest, that would be gone –
And thus, without a Wing
Or service of a Keel
Our Summer made her light escape
Into the Beautiful.

There is stardust in your bones
That keeps you ablaze but forever alone.
You are the survivor of thousands of wars
Remembrance of centuries embellished with scars.
Storms were named after people like you
A hurricane in nature, a prophetic clue.
You are the star that refused to die
In the depth of your soul defiance lies.

Silence all around!
Hearing creepy sounds,
That’s when the anxiety begins
Don’t let that cover you up,
You, yourself can change it all
By not letting in negative thoughts into your mind,
Stop, stop now and let the positive game begin
You are enough to change and stop everything,
So just get ready

When I am in a mood
To write
Some poetry
I take my pen
Along with the diary
I sit in solitude
With a positive attitude
Then you appear
All of a sudden
Out of the subconscious
Deeply hidden
I lose control over
My pen
I start writing you
I make you my poem
