The issue of 7 April had a beautiful cover page. First, I moved toward ‘What I like about Ramazan’ and found that I related to most of the views I read in the article. The cover story was quite informative and well elaborated. In Poets’ Corner, I loved the poem ‘Hiraeth’ by Zahra Zafar. Ed, it’s quite intimidating how all these poets find such beautiful words for the things we just think about but can’t say aloud. Moreover, ‘Tell Me a Story to Sleep’ by Nayab Khan had a dark vibe to it, but I liked it, too. I always read Trust Us, too, because it always has some nice advice for young people.

‘The Eid Engagement and Other Weddings’ in today’s issue (14 April) was actually good. I think Hina was somewhat at fault, but Sameer’s reaction was a little too much. He should have been glad that his wife had accepted him from her heart, but it seems he is a typical male chauvinist. But this tiff has given life to a story that was otherwise becoming a bit dull.

Just one complaint: Ground Reality seems to have disappeared totally. I hope Nabeel Naqvi reads this letter and writes a good piece on Pakistan versus New Zealand matches. Kiwis in Pakistan are always a delight to watch!
