Iqra Aziz took to Instagram and wrote that everyone is mourning the death of Rehan who was brutally killed for just Rs 700. “Everyone is tweeting that they are sad but my question is what is the solution?” she questioned.

After the brutal lynching of a teenage boy, Rehan, who was accused of stealing in Karachi last weekend, many renowned celebrities took to social media expressing their horror over the horrendous incident.

In the wake of the horrific killing of Rehan, artists such as Mahira Khan, Saba Qamar, Bilal Ashraf and Armeena Rana Khan - among others – not only condemned the act but also demanded justice for the young boy. The latest to join the list is Ranjha Ranjha Kardi actress Iqra Aziz, who gave her two cents on the matter.

Iqra Aziz took to Instagram and wrote that everyone is mourning the death of Rehan who was brutally killed for just Rs 700. “Everyone is tweeting that they are sad but my question is what is the solution?” she questioned.

The actress furthered that the video of the entire incident is available and that prompt action should be taken against the culprits. She added that those who have committed the crime should be punished and everyone should know about the consequences that follow such heinous acts; or else children will continue to die at the hands of ruthless people and we will continue to mourn them. Moreover, she compared the incident to movies such as Gangs of Wasseypur where one gets away with anything including murder, and urged Prime Minister Imran Khan to let everyone know that this is ‘Naya Pakistan’.
