Ali Saleem, popularly known as Begum Nawazish Ali, will have a cameo in Saqib Malik’s directorial debut, Baaji that comes out this year and features an ensemble cast including Osman Khalid Butt, Meera Ji, Amna Ilyas and others. He will take on the role of Begum Nawazish Ali once again but for the big screen this time.
However, that’s not it all. According to latest reports, the unconventional artist is making his digital debut in the coming months with a web series that is being directed by Nadeem Baig and produced by Uzma Nadeem.
The upcoming web series will feature Begum Nawazish Ali as the host, who will have one-on-one conversations with A-list celebrities of Pakistan’s entertainment industry. The team has shot seven episodes so far. Celebs who have recorded interviews on the show include Meera Ji, Humayun Saeed, Mehwish Hayat, Sohai Ali Abro, Azfar Rehman, Sadaf Kanwal and Zahid Ahmed. No release date for the series has been announced yet.
