Good news is that The House of Kamiar Rokni has collaborated with Anaya by Kiran Chaudhary on an unstitched luxury wedding collection, Riyasat. The 7-piece luxury capsule collection is opulent and unapologetically eastern in sensibility and reflects a lot of the designer’s classic work. According to a press statement, the new collection is “an ode to the very heritage of The House of Kamiar Rokni, who hails from the former Riyasat territory of Bahawalpur.”
Speaking about joining forces with Anaya by Kiran Chaudhry, a childhood friend of the designer’s, Kamiar Rokni said, “It is exciting to collaborate with Kiran Chaudhry as The House of Kamiar Rokni continues to explore new mediums for design and retail, while always crafting fashion within the signature ethos of our brand; art, culture and imagination.”
He added, “We have focused on wearable, beautiful classics in Riyasat – wardrobe building pieces that really stand the test of time and in the spirit of our collaboration with Anaya, this collection will be available widely and accessibly in terms of price point.”
Coming back to the luxury collection, it is perfect for the wedding season and aesthetically speaking, it is quite classic - encapsulating designs that are timeless yet trendy. A combination of velvets, woven jacquards, chiffons and silk trims with detailed sequined embroideries have been used, bringing together different textures within one outfit. The unstitched luxury collection will be available in retail stores nationwide on January 7, 2019.
