Adnan Sarwar directorial, Motorcycle Girl starring Sohai Ali Abro is releasing in Pakistan today. The film premiered in Lahore, followed by Karachi, earlier this week and has generated mixed reviews so far. It takes inspiration from the life of Zenith Irfan, the first female motorcyclist to travel across Pakistan solo on a motorbike. Her late father dreamt of travelling around the world on bike but he was unable to so she decided to fulfill his dream, despite social barriers. Aside from Sohai, Motorcycle Girl also features Ali Kazmi, Sarmad Khoosat and Samina Peerzada in prominent roles.

THEATRE

Jhaanjar Di Paanwaan Chhankaar

Premiering at Alhamra Arts Council, Lahore, tonight, Jhaanjar Di Paanwaan Chhankaar (The Sound of my Anklet’s Bells) is a theatre play directed by Sarmad Khoosat and Kanwal Khoosat. Featuring Sarmad, Samiya Mumtaz, Zain Afzal and Iman Shahid, it has been written by Saeed Rahman and Fatima Maan. It will run for three days in Lahore starting today, followed by a small run in Karachi and Islamabad in the coming months. Tickets for all three cities are available. Dracula

With a desire to revamp theatre across the nation, Happy Owl Productions has brought a show, called Dracula, that is something you have never seen before. Bringing state of the art graphics on stage, Dracula is a tale of love, loss and redemption. It is a drama thriller that promises romance, music, dance, action and much more – all at once. Having premiered on the 19th of April at the Alhamra Arts Council, Lahore, it will run over the weekend with the last show on April 22. Sea Festival 2018

Currently taking place at the Beach Luxury Hotel in Karachi, Sea Festival 2018 offers multiple activities on a single platform. Music, dance, games, food stalls, boating and a lot more awaits you at the three day festival this weekend. Running from April 19 till April 21, the activities begin at 4pm in the evening and continue till 10 at night. The lineup of featured artists includes Hadiqa Kiani, Naeem Abbas Rufi, Tufail Sanjrani, Natasha Baig, Faheem Allan and many others. Keto Food Festival

Alliance Francaise De Karachi, in collaboration with TeamEventure, is hosting the first ever ketogenic lifestyle event in Pakistan. 9th Tehzeeb Festival & Awards

Tehzeeb Foundation has been organising the festival since its inception in 2009. The Tehzeeb Festival & Awards is one of the essential endeavours by the non-profit organisation that has been working for the advancement and promotion of music, literature and fine arts in Pakistan. This year, the foundation is holding its 9th Tehzeeb Festival & Awards in collaboration with Karachi Arts Council. The festival featuring classical, ghazal and folk music will commence today April 20 at 07:00 pm at Arts Council of Pakistan Karachi and will run till April 21.
