Arts Council of Karachi is constantly making efforts to provide an entertainment platform to the youth of the city in form of festivals, theatre plays, art exhibitions and much more. The most recent addition to the efforts is the upcoming 10th Karachi Youth Festival that will begin from tomorrow.

Featuring various games, activities, dance, music and theatre plays, the festival will run for 8 days and will come to an end on February 24. The line-up of musicians who will be performing live at the festival include young singing sensations Asim Azhar, Hamza Akram Qawwal and Nabeel Shaukat Ali.

Speaking at the press conference held yesterday to announce the festival, president Arts Council, Ahmad Shah said, “Arts Council is proud to announce another youth festival that is aimed at promoting arts among youngsters. It’s been 10 years since we first started off and we have been able to train around 17,000 underprivileged students in theatre, dance and music. This year, the festival will be very unique and will feature workshops and trainings. It aims to highlight the importance of art and culture among the youth.”

Thousands of youngsters have registered for the upcoming festival and we hope it only gets bigger and better each year.
