The upcoming edition of PFDC Sunsilk Fashion Week is all set to take place in March 2018. This will be the 11th year and the event will be held in Lahore from March 9 - 11 featuring the best of fashion in alignment with international standards.
The upcoming edition of PFDC Sunsilk Fashion Week is all set to take place in March 2018. This will be the 11th year and the event will be held in Lahore from March 9 - 11 featuring the best of fashion in alignment with international standards.
The 3-day run will feature a combination of solo designer showcases, grouped designer showcases, high street prêt-a-porter and high street luxury prêt showcases as well as the seasonal retail/lawn showcases.
Aside from the addition of solo shows introduced last year, the 11th edition of PFDC Fashion Week will also have two separate show spaces and independent ramps within the same venue in their respective time slots. This feature was also introduced in 2017 and turned out to be a successful move on part of the council.
However, the upcoming event plans to add another new segment of fashion showcases this year, which will be dedicated to design-led craft for a series of capsule collections. The aim is to take fashion week to another level by letting high fashion and Pakistan’s indigenous craft grow together in the coming years.
While the dates have already been announced, the designer lineup for 2018 will be revealed next month.
