Mahira Khan and Sheheryar Munawar-starrer Saat Din Mohabbat In received a bit of criticism when it was announced earlier this year, due to its unoriginal title. It seems to be inspired from a famous dialogue in Shah Rukh Khan’s Kal Ho Na Ho that says, ‘6 Din Larki In’. While this may or may not be the case, expectations from the film are high, given that the lead pair as well as the director duo behind the project, Farjad Nabi and Meenu Gaur, are some very credible names. The film’s shooting has finally begun in Karachi after the cast and crew completed the rehearsals last month.
Saat Din Mohabbat In tells the story of a man who embarks on a journey to find his true love in the crowded city of Karachi and encounters some obstacles before he achieves his goals. This maybe a clichéd plot but we’re curious to see how Karachi’s burgeoning population is at play in the film.
Written by Fasih Bari Khan, the film also marks Mira Sethi’s big screen debut while it will also feature Amna Ilyas, Aamir Qureshi and Adnan Shah Tipu in pivotal roles. Khan and Sheheryar have earlier appeared together in last year’s hit film Ho Mann Jahaan while Farjad and Meenu have films like Zinda Bhaag and Jeewan Hathi to their credit.
