The single from her album of the same name generated a lot of buzz, even though the singer went on record to say that she didn’t understand why it became a topic of controversy.

Nevertheless, Khan is back with some more original music. Her first single of 2017, ‘Mein Udaan Hoon’ has been released by EMI Pakistan. The song brings to light Khan’s love for freedom and highlights the singer’s own free spirited personality.
“I am extremely excited for my upcoming release. I have had the best time working on this track. I am sure the audience will enjoy it as much as I enjoyed making it,” said Khan in a press release. “The song is about freedom and free spirit and I am positive that the audience will connect to it.”
