As it turns out, there are people across the border who also feel the same way. One such example is India’s singing sensation Alka Yagnik, who has delivered several hits in her long career including numbers such as ‘Agar Tum Saath Ho’ that featured in Imtiaz Ali’s Tamasha.
The singer congratulated Ahsan Khan for bagging the LSA nomination for the aforementioned TV play in a video recently. “I just wanted to say, what a brilliant performance you have given in Udaari,” said Yagnik in a video message shared by the Udaari star. “It’s very difficult to believe, in fact it’s unbelievable that the same Ahsan Khan who has done all those charming, lover-boy roles has done this role, which is such a contrast and you have done it so credibly and beautifully!”
Yagnik went on to explain that she’s not the only one who feels this way. “All my friends feel the same way as I do. I just wanted to wish you all the best. You surely deserve the award. Not only this, you deserve all the awards possible!”
