Women are mistreated on the streets, harassed at workplaces and face discrimination on various levels. Providing women with an entertainment option with no men around, Cinepax Cinemas announced their WOW – Women on Wednesday – offer that will allow them to have women-only movie experience every Wednesday afternoon.
Women can now enjoy watching movies with their family and friends without having to worry about or be bothered about the presence of men around. In the same ticket price, women will be served free popcorn and discount vouchers for Depilex salon, since this step is in collaboration with the salon.
Sharing his views on the initiative, Mohsin Yaseen, GM Marketing & Content, Cinepax Cinemas said in a press statement, “Our team is constantly working on bringing something new for its customers and the Women on Wednesday (WOW) offer is dedicating a day to only our female customers who want to spend time out with their friends and watch a film of their choice.”
The offer is applicable at limited Cinepax Cinemas including Ocean Mall (Karachi), Boulevard Mall (Hyderabad), Fortress Square (Lahore) and Jinnah Park (Rawalpindi).
