With a bunch of TV shows to his credit including Kaun Banega Crorepati and Kya Aap Paanchvi Pass Se Tez Hain, King Khan has always charmed viewers with his presence on the small screen. After the release of his last film Raees, which is doing quite well at the box office, Khan is all set to return to the small screen with Ted Talk’s Hindi version. Titled TED Talks India: Nayi Soch, the talk series will feature Khan as the host who’ll introduce the speakers and interact with them before and after the talks.

Speaking to The Hollywood Reporter, SRK noted, “TED’s unequivocal drive to showcase simple but unique ideas in an effort to spark debate and conversation are a very powerful combination. I believe TED Talks India: Nayi Soch will inspire many minds across India. It is a concept I connected with instantly, as I believe that the media is perhaps the single most powerful vehicle to inspire change.”

The Hindi version of the show will also follow the same 18-minute format where experts and other influential speakers will share their ideas on a range of topics. TED Talks India: Nayi Soch will air on Star Plus this summer.

TED is a show dedicated to exchanging ideas in the form of small yet powerful talks. It initially started in 1984 as a forum to discuss Technology, Entertainment and Design (TED) but now it covers various other subjects too, from business to social to global issues in over 100 languages.
