It’s a different matter that Fawad Khan didn’t win the award that would have definitely gone to him had the political climate been different.
Mawra Hocane, perhaps the friendliest and warmest celebrity around, took to Twitter to congratulate Sonam Kapoor for her performance in Neerja, which won her a Critics Award for Best Actress.“Dooba doobka…Gehra ishq!! The Neerja star replied just as sweetly, saying “Mawra! Beautiful girl, thank you so much!” Sonam Kapoor lost the Best Actress award to Alia Bhatt, who rightfully took the award home for her outstanding performance in Udta Punjab.
