The fate of Karan Johar’s all-star Ae Dil Hai Mushkil will be revealed when the film releases later this month. The film’s lead star, Ranbir Kapoor, is obviously worried about how things are unfolding in India, as was confirmed by close friend and director Ayan Mukherji recently.

“Ranbir is tensed, everyone is worried about how things are unfolding. He is hoping for the best,” Mukherji told reporters at the opening of the 18th MAMI Mumbai International Film Festival.

In the meantime, there is some good news for Ranbir Kapoor fans since the actor has finally settled on his next few films.

First up is Jagga Jasoos, a musical saga which pairs Kapoor with Katrina Kaif and will feature the actor playing the role of a detective. With Anurag Basu attached to direct, who also worked with Kapoor in the award-winning Barfi, expect good things.

Kapoor is also collaborating with Karan Johar (for the umpteen time) and Ayan Mukherji (after Yeh Jawani Hai Deewani and Wake Up Sid) for the superhero film titled Dragon, which will also feature Alia Bhatt in a pivotal role. The film will be part of a trilogy.

After shooting for Jagga Jasoos and Dragon, Kapoor will move on to the Sanjay Dutt biopic, which is being directed by Rajkumar Hirani of PK and Munnabhai fame.
