The untitled project that marks Ahsan Rahim’s directorial debut into films will be an action comedy and is expected to come out on Eid, next year. While Zafar has been finalized for the film, the makers haven’t finalized the female lead as yet.
Rahim has directed some of the most popular music videos of all time including ‘Laga Reh’, ‘Sajania’, ‘Qismat Apne Hath Main’ and ‘Preeto’. He also has some TV plays to his credit. This is not the first time the two will work together; Zafar and Rahim have collaborated earlier for several music videos.
According to reports, Zafar has pushed his own production, DeoSai for now as Ahsan Rahim’s project requires him to do some special training.
Perhaps the current political situation between India and Pakistan is forcing celebrities to work in Pakistan and while we are not sure about the fate of Ali Zafar’s upcoming Bollywood film Dear Zindagi, at least we get to watch him on the big screen next year.
