While a great deal of time is spent by fans and perhaps even critics on social media where Coke Studio is debated, loved and hated with equal vigour, there are plenty of artists who have earned the right to shine in the spotlight.

While a great deal of time is spent by fans and perhaps even critics on social media where Coke Studio is debated, loved and hated with equal vigour, there are plenty of artists who have earned the right to shine in the spotlight.

One such entity is SNKM (Sonic Nocturnal Kinetic Movement) which consists of musicians Adil Omar and Talal Qureshi. Having collaborated on the 2015 EP, Saturday Night Killing Machine, this dynamic duo has been on a roll.

After making waves at Diplo’s Mad Decent Block Party where they performed alongside names like Kesha, Marshmello, Wax Motif and others in Detroit and Chicago and weaved their magic with knock-out songs like ‘Nighat and Paras’, ‘Paki Rambo’ as well as a chunk of unreleased material earlier this month, SNKM will continue to cross unchartered musical terr itory.

According to a press statement, SNKM is planning to drop their next EP 'Sonic Nocturnal Kinetic Movement' later this year. The duo, keeping up the tradition of funky collaborations, will work with artists such as Elliphant, Erik Hassle and Lyari Underground on their new record.

In addition to all this, SNKM duo have already planned out their next single, which is called ‘What Have We Done’ and will continue to produce and write tracks for both local and international artists.

Meanwhile, Talal Qureshi is set to release a solo EP and Adil Omar is working on a solo record as well.
