Their next outing together, Jagga Jasoos, the shooting for which had been delayed due to their split, finally has a release date. The film which was initially scheduled to release in June, this year, is expected to hit theatres on April 7, 2017.

Directed by Anurag Basu, who also directed Ranbir Kapoor-starrer Barfi, Jagga Jasoos revolves around the character of a guy named Jagga (played by Kapoor) who remains curious about everything around him since childhood. After his father’s murder, the only purpose of his life is to find the culprit and bring him to justice; in this journey he is accompanied by his love interest, Kaif.
The film marks the Kapoor’s debut as a producer under the banner of Picture Shuru Productions - a collaboration between Kapoor and Basu - and is co-produced by Disney.
As for their other projects, Kapoor’s next release Ae Dil Hai Mushkil, alongside Aishwarya Rai Bachchan and Anushka Sharma, will hit theatres on October 28, this year, and the actor has also been roped in for Ayan Mukherjee’s upcoming superhero film Dragon that stars Alia Bhatt as his co-star. Meanwhile, Kaif is gearing up for her next, Baar Baar Dekho, opposite Siddharth Malhotra.
