Veteran actor Saeed Jaffery passes away at 86
LONDON: Veteran Bollywood actor Saeed Jaffrey passed away on Sunday at the age of 86, his niece revealed on social media.
Besides multiple roles in Bollywood movies, Jaffery starred in many British films as well in a career that spanned over 50 years.
Besides cinema Jaffery also starred in multiple British television productions including a stint on Coronation Street.

Besides multiple roles in Bollywood movies, Jaffery starred in many British films as well in a career that spanned over 50 years.
Besides cinema Jaffery also starred in multiple British television productions including a stint on Coronation Street.
Starting from theater, he established his own company ‘Unity theatre’. He was also awarded the Order of the British Empire (OBE) for his services to drama in the United Kingdom.
Besides his contributions to theater, television and cinema, Jaffery also served as a Radio Director at the All India Radio.
