Pakistan one of the most hit by climate change: Lacoste
ISLAMABAD: Deputy Special Representative for the Paris Climate Conference Ambassador Philippe Lacoste said Pakistan is one of the most affected countries by climate change and needs international cooperation to address the challenge.
He was speaking at a programme of Radio Pakistan’s Current Affairs Channel, which focused on the impact of climate change and the forthcoming Paris Conference.

ISLAMABAD: Deputy Special Representative for the Paris Climate Conference Ambassador Philippe Lacoste said Pakistan is one of the most affected countries by climate change and needs international cooperation to address the challenge.
He was speaking at a programme of Radio Pakistan’s Current Affairs Channel, which focused on the impact of climate change and the forthcoming Paris Conference.
The Ambassador said developed countries have both resources and technologies which they should share with the developing and affected countries.
Parliamentary Secretary for Interior Maryam Aurangzeb said Pakistan has one of the best climate change policies and the only requirement is provision of resources and their effective implementation.
Head of Islamabad based Climate Research Development Centre Dr. Shahid Kamal said that we will have to look at how to reduce the impact of carbon dioxide on our health.
