An Indian boy took his own life after getting scolded by mother for continually playing the widely-played video game PUBG.

Hailing from Hyderabad, the 16-year-old hung himself from a ceiling fan at his residence after getting scolded by his mother for wasting time on the popular online game instead of focusing on his studies.

After the death of the boy, his father has stepped forward demanding a ban on the game that is all the rage these days amongst gaming fans.

In a related incident, another teen in Mumbai had killed himself over the game after he got into a fight with his family for not getting new mobile phone for playing PUBG.
