RAWALPINDI: Kashmir conflict is the major impediment to peace, Pakistan military spokesman Major General Asif Ghafoor told CNN on Wednesday urging India to correct its course instead of indulging in blame game.
The ISPR DG said backlash from Kashmiris would be natural if Indian atrocities continue in the occupied territory.
He said women are being raped while people are being blinded by the use of pellet guns in Occupied Kashmir.
The army spokesman said a UN commission report was also available on Indian atrocities in the region.
The Director General of ISPR said the world will have to keep into consideration what has pushed Kashmiri youths to violence.
Speaking about recent spike in tensions between Pakistan and India, Asif Gahfoor said Islamabad responded to Indian aggression which had brought both the countries to the brink of war.
He said release of Indian pilot was peace gesture and Pakistan would see what it gets in response.
