When Ranbir Kapoor dissed Deepika Padukone: She has angst against me!

Hailed as one of the most adorable couples when they used to date each other once, Ranbir Kapoor and Deepika Padukone are leading separate lives after their painful breakup. 

While the two maintain a cordial work relationship even after their nasty split, there was a time when the duo exchanged heated words for each other.

Days after they called it quits, Deepika had hinted in one of her statements that Ranbir has cheated on her.

Responding to this, Ranbir was quoted on a television show saying, "Deepika has some angst against me. I think it would have been more graceful of her if she had picked up the phone and spoken to me about it rather than speaking on a public platform," he said. 

Here's how Deepika reacted to the statement: "Yes, I did have that angst and I guess any woman would have reacted similarly in the situation that I was in. There are a lot of things that were written about us and our personal life, but today we have put it all behind us and moved on."

She added, "We are both happy and comfortable with each other and I think that is what matters to me."

On another note, Deepika also revealed why she stopped talking about Ranbir in the media.

"As I said, too much was said about us and there is always constant speculation from the media and other people. This speculation is not restricted to the couple but also brings in their families," she said.

Deepika added, "There were all sorts of predictions of where the relationship was heading and that puts a strain on any couple in the limelight. Some people can handle it but I can't."
