Priyanka Chopra's mom checks in to Jodhpur to oversee wedding preps

JODHPUR: While Priyanka is busy with her work commitments and her wedding is just round the corner, her mother Dr Madhu Chopra decided to fly to Jodhpur to foresee the preps of her daughter’s nuptials with fiancé Nick Jonas.

Speaking about the wedding venue, Madhu Chopra revealed, “Mera bahut pasandida shehar hai. Saari duniya chhodkar hum yahaan aaye hain (It’s my favourite city, we are having the wedding here out of all other places in the world)."

Priyanka and Nick are tying the knot in the city’s Mehrangarh fort of the Umair Bhawan Palace.

According to Indian media, when Madhu was asked to comment on Priyanka and Nick’s wedding preps, she said, “Ab shaadi dekh lena... abhi se kya bataaun. Jab ho jaaye, tab baat karenge (Wait for the wedding. Will talk once it’s done)."

The couple got engaged in August this year and decided to marry in Jodhpur in December. They even visited the palace in October hand-in-hand, pictures of which went viral immediately.

On the work front, Priyanka is currently filming The Sky Is Pink in New Delhi.
