Famed Hollywood actress Cameron Diaz recently announced that she is bidding farewell to her cinematic career of 24 years.
She confirmed the news in a recent interview stating that, “Maybe I should, you know, I mean, I’m down. I’m literally doing nothing. I’m semi-retired, too, and I am actually retired, so I would love to see you ladies.”
Rumours regarding the actress’ retirement were already in circulation since last month after Diaz’s ‘The Sweetest Thing’ co-star Selma Blair revealed that "Cameron’s retired from acting. She’s like ‘I’m done.’"
The actress who shot to fame in 1994 with her appearance in the movie ‘The Mask’ was last seen in Annie – a musical that released in 2014 – in which she starred alongside Jamie Foxx.
Some of Diaz’s best works include The Last Supper, My Best Friend’s Wedding, Charlie’s Angels along with countless others.
