Sohai Ali Abro starring ‘Motorcycle Girl’’s first look has been released. The movie is a biopic on the life of Pakistani motorcyclist, Zenith Irfan who is accredited with being the first Pakistani female to ride a motorcycle through the northern areas.
The poster was shared by the lead actor, director and the movie inspiration herself. It is a vibrant, quirky poster showing Sohai riding a motorcycle against the backdrop of mountains with a passionate smile on her face.
Sohai shared the poster on her Instagram account with the caption: “Aaaaaaaaand here it is here. First look #MotorcycleGirl releasing on the 20th of April 2018 in cinemas near you! Directed by Adnan Sarwar #sorrynotsorry.”
Written and directed by Adnan Sarwar of Shah fame, Motorcycle Girl is a story about Zenith Irfan who rode from Lahore to Khunjerab Pass on a motorbike to make her late father feel proud of her up in the heavens.
About the movie, Sarwar said, “The remarkable story of what Zenith did at such a young age caught my attention after Shah and I knew it was the right subject to turn into a film. I have scripted a fictional world around the core true story of her journey and I hope that ‘Motorcycle Girl’ will help further the cause of women empowerment in Pakistan.”
‘Motorcycle Girl’ will release on 20th April with Samina Peerzada, Sarmad Khoosat and Ali Kazmi in the star cast too.
