Canadian premier visits Taj Mahal with family

AGRA, India: Justin Trudeau, Canada’s Prime Minister, visited India’s famous Taj Mahal alongside his family on Sunday.
Trudeau is on a week-long trip to India and is scheduled to meet Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi on February 23.
His visit to India is aimed at strengthening ties between the two countries and bilateral cooperation with a focus on defense and security, counter-terror collaboration, trade and investment and tackling climate change.
After visiting the Taj Mahal, Trudeau proceeded to Mathura, where he visited the Wild Life Century (Elephant Conservation Center).
Trudeau is also scheduled to attend several economic roundtables during his stay. He will visit Indian state Gujarat on Feb 19, Amritsar’s Golden Temple on Feb 21 and Delhi’s Jamia Masjid on Feb 22, before returning to Canada on 25th of this month.
