Director and co-writer Will Gluck has used his innate skills to bring the mischievous and adventurous rabbit in blue jacket to life that rose to popularity through Beatrix Potter's books.
Peter, with voice over by James Corden is inquisitive, chirpy and always ready for adventure. He is after the vegetables in McGregor's garden which puts his family; triplets Flopsy, Mopsy and Cotton-tail and their cousin in danger.
The naughty rabbit also jeopardizes their neighbour and caretaker's relationship.
Director says that the decision that inspired him to make the movie is that he was attracted to the books since his childhood and wanted to do justice to it.
He made sure that the screen was always full of fun things happening in the background exactly the way it happened in the book and he felt attached to it.
The animated film will hit cinemas today 9th February.
