MUMBAI: The medical student from India who grabbed the title of Miss World last year was believed to be given her big break in Bollywood by the reputed director Karan Johar. However the ‘Koffee with Karan’ host has broken his silence about the rumors.
Manushi Chhillar, the 20-year-old winner of Miss World 2017 was reported to break into the film industry by starring alongside Tiger Shroff in Karan Johar’s film ‘Student of the Year 2’.
However the reports are for now labeled untrue by the film’s director Karan Johar, who was reported to have said that despite him being tremendously proud of the young star’s achievement and attesting to the fact that she is a beautiful person, the news of her starring in his film is for now incorrect.
Manushi has reportedly been very open about her dreams of debuting in the film industry and even her parents have stated that they will support her decision if she decides to pursue a career in acting.
The beauty queen was also spotted at the Dabboo Ratnani 2018 calendar launch and upon being asked she revealed that she is looking at some Bollywood projects and soon we might even see her on the big screen.
