Two giant numerals ‘1’ and ‘8’ of 2018 arrived at Times Square for a public unveiling and lighting.

NEW YORK: Two giant numerals ‘1’ and ‘8’ of 2018 arrived at Times Square for a public unveiling and lighting.
The numerals were lighted amidst cheers of a crowd that had gathered to welcome the numerals which will be sent to One Times Square to become part of the 2018 sign that will be lighted up on the eve of 31st December.
With only 17 days left to year-end, visitors are flocking to the Times Square to get their pictures taken with the numerals.
