DUBAI: Quetta Gladiators defeated Karachi Kings by seven wickets in the fifth T20 match of the Pakistan Super League (PSL) on Saturday at the Dubai International Cricket Stadium.
130 run partnership between Rilee Rossouw and Sarfraz Ahmed helped Gladiators chase the 160-run target. Rossouw contributed 76 off 53 balls that included three sixes and four boundaries. Sarfaraz Ahmed made 56 off 42 hitting one six four 4s. Gladiators achieved the target in 19.1 overs. Sohail Khan took all three wickets for 23 runs.
Earlier, Karachi Kings made 159 runs for eight wickets after being sent into bat. Babar Azam top scored with 50 off 42 balls hitting four boundaries and a six while the only other notable contribution was 25 made by captain Kumar Sangakkara.
Allrounder Thisara Perera was the most successful bowler from Quetta Gladiators with three wickets for 34 runs, followed by Tymal Mills, who claimed two for 21.
