Most watched Pakistani videos on YouTube in 2016 are...

The year is nearly at its end and one cannot help but reflect back to the previous year. YouTube returned to Pakistan in 2016 and since the beginning of the year, we have watched loads of dramas, music videos and viral stuff on the video streaming site. Here's a brief recap according to time spent watching, sharing, commenting, liking and more by viewers based in Pakistan, of what was watched the most on YouTube in Pakistan.

West Indies won the ICC T20 World Cup 2016 this year in April and the world instantly fell in love with the dance as well as the chorus of DJ Bravo's Champion song. Champion was also among the list of most watched YouTube videos in Pakistan.

 

 Taher Shah most recently broke the internet a few months ago with his second single Angel which elucidated responses from the likes of Twinkle Khanna and Karan Johar. The song's music video was the tenth most watched in Pakistan (in the category excluding major label music videos). 

Commander Safeguard's Jungle Main Mungle was the most watched YouTube video of the year. 

As far as the Supplementary list of music videos went, Momina Mustehsan's both Coke Studio songs, Afreen and Tera Woh Pyar, were extensively watched by the masses on YouTube. Other Coke Studio hits such as Aaqa (Abida Parveen and Ali Sethi) Aye Rah-e-Haq ke Shaheedon and Rang (Rahat Fateh Ali Khan and Amjad Sabri) made the list of the most watched music videos in Pakistan as well. 

Popular Bollywood dance numbers such as Baby Ko Bass Pasand Hai and Kaala Chashma came in at number 3 and number 2 of the most watched music videos (supplementary list) in Pakistan on YouTube.
