Pete Davidson reveals why his relationship with Kim Kardashian didn't work out
Pete Davidson and Kim Kardashian parted ways in August 2022 after nine months of dating
Pete Davidson has opened up about his former highly publicized relationship with Kim Kardashian.
The 32-year-old comedian recently gave an interview to Variety in which he shared why his relationship with the reality star didn't work out.
"Look, man, that’s a really tough atmosphere if you’re not game. One of the things I love about Kim and that whole family is they’re like, ‘This is what we do.’ I found that very attractive and mature," said Pete.
"And I was never subjected to anything I didn’t want to be a part of," he continued. "She was super respectful of all of it, but the craze of that lifestyle — being followed everywhere, having security and looking over your shoulder — for a guy with mental stuff, and at the time drug problems, was a little too much for me."
The Saturday Night Live alum added that he and Kim remain on good terms.
"We’re cool, and I have a lot of love for her, and I knew what I was getting into," said Pete.
For those unaware, Pete and Kim began dating in October 2021. However, the relationship didn't last long, as the two parted ways on August 5, 2022, after nine months of dating.
