Chad Lowe's father breaks silence on granddaughter Fiona's sudden death

Chuck Lowe, the father of Chad Lowe, is mourning the sudden death of his granddaughter Fiona.

On Wednesday, Chuck took to his Instagram handle to pay an emotional tribute to his son Chad’s middle daughter.

“Rest in peace, sweet Fiona,” he penned in the caption along with a throwback photo of Fiona swimming in a pool.

For those unaware, the Lowe family announced the death of Fiona on Tuesday, September 29.

“We are deeply heartbroken by the loss of our beloved Fiona," the family said in a statement shared with People magazine. "She was a loving young girl who was smart, creative and loved to dance."

“She was adored by her sisters and she was deeply loved by her parents. In fact, she was the light of our lives," the Lowe family continued. "Her passing is devastating for our entire family and we ask for prayers and privacy at this time."

Chad is also a father to daughters Nixie Barbara, 10, and Mabel Painter, 17, whom she shares with his wife, Kim Painter.
