Oasis confirm 2027 tour time with huge drone spectacle
Rumours had been swirling for a while that Oasis would be going on tour in 2027
Oasis have seemingly revealed the announcement time and date for their 2027 tour with a huge drone display in Manchester.
The band are expected to head back out on the road next year in the UK and Europe, following on from their Live ’25 reunion trek last summer.
Rumoured venues and dates for the upcoming run include an impressive 12-night homecoming residency in Manchester and a return to Knebworth.
Reports have also suggested that the group were booking out the Etihad Stadium, the home of Liam and Noel Gallagher’s beloved Manchester City FC.
Now, this appears all but confirmed after a big drone display appeared over the site on Thursday September 10.
Graphic design company Microdot, which created Oasis’ iconic band logo, and has made various artworks for the band.
The clip, posted on social media, shows Oasis’ logo transform to depict the time “4PM BST”, before changing into the date “14.09.26”.
As a result, fans are expecting Oasis to announce their Manchester residency, and perhaps a full UK/European tour, next Monday afternoon, September 14.
Last year, Oasis similarly used drones for a massive display above Manchester’s Heaton Park, ahead of their five-night stint at the venue.
Other spectacles took place in Cardiff, Chicago and more cities throughout the tour.
Recent days have seen Oasis share video teasers for other locations on their 2027 tour, including Glasgow, Paris, Amsterdam and Rome.
Another snippet hinted at the Etihad Stadium, containing a football, goalposts and other clues.
The Gallagher brothers are lifelong fans of the club, famously playing at their previous ground, Maine Road, in 1996.
Next week’s tour news will come on the heels of Oasis’ new documentary film, Don’t Look Back In Anger, which arrived in cinemas on Wednesday, September 9.
