Sandra Bullock's children will always remain her top priority.
Speaking to Interview magazine, the 62-year-old movie star said that she prioritizes her kids over her acting career.
"If the kids can’t be with me, I’m not going," Sandra said, who is a mother to daughter Louis, 16, and son Laila, 12.
"The older they get, the bigger their schedules. And their schedules are more important than me telling a story, period," she continued.
Sandra added, "I don’t have that same drive to be in front of the camera. I get my fulfilment from the prep, the building of it, rather than the 'Hey, I’m an actor and look at what I’ve done.' That scares me actually, because then the judgement comes."
The Practical Magic actress also confessed to feeling "lost" without her children.
"Unless the kids are with me, I’m lost," said Sandra.
Despite having a successful career in the entertainment industry, Sandra has always been an intensely private person.
"I’ve been insanely private since I was a little kid," the actress said. "I drove my mother crazy. That’s just inherently who I am. I love being in a safe group. Nothing makes me happier than coming to your house and hanging with everybody, but then you have situations where people take your privacy and sell it."
"But I love telling stories and it’s our job to go out there and represent. And once I get out there, I have a blast," Sandra added.
