Noel and Liam Gallagher end 'Oasis' feud without dramatic apology: Here's how

For 16 years, Noel and Liam Gallagher — two brothers and the forces behind Oasis — have been feuding.

The relationship between them soured to the point that it broke the rock band's unity back in 2009.

But eventually, in Noel's words, "music brought them together."

As both brothers become the faces of the new documentary Oasis: Don't Look Back in Anger, it captures the entire process of their brotherhood turning from hostility to reconciliation.

According to the Daily Mail, there was no apology involved.

Yet, when the Gallagher brothers went on an Oasis reunion tour last year, tensions between them began to ease.

However, at the start, despite the tour being in the works, both were reportedly not on speaking terms.

But gradually, working with the spirit of collaboration on the tour, the ice between them began to melt.

Steven Knight, the creator of the documentary, explained, "It wasn't until they were into the tour that they were in a place where they were able to sit down with each other."

A turning point came at their first concert of the tour in Cardiff.

Noel, who was reportedly nervously waiting for his brother backstage, got a surprise when Liam grabbed his hand, and together they went onto the stage.

With the brothers getting along, so do their families.

"My kids met his kids," Noel told the Daily Mail, adding, "They didn't know each other; they have never met. They are all best friends now."

Liam concurs, "They are loving it – f***** spangled every night."

Oasis: Don't Look Back in Anger will arrive on Disney+ on September 11.
