Robert Pattinson reveals why he can't juggle multiple movie roles at same time
Robert Pattinson reveals the answer to this during his appearance at the Venice Film Festival
What a year Robert Pattinson is probably having. In 2026 alone, his four films have been released, with Dune: Part II being the last one to be released at the end of this year.
The number of movies doesn't mean he is open to juggling multiple roles simultaneously.
A fact he made quite clear during the Primetime premiere at the Venice Film Festival.
“I’m definitely not doing simultaneous stuff during Batman,” he said, adding, “It’s impossible.”
But Pattinson does count himself lucky to have landed such prominent roles.
"You know, when you're inspired by something, it's giving back to you all the time," the British actor added.
"All of these projects – it's just such an unbelievable privilege," Pattinson said, before noting he would be distraught if he missed any one of them. "I would have been devastated to draw many of them."
However, still shooting back-to-back Batman, Dune, The Odyssey and Primetime, raises the question of how he manages to switch between such high-profile roles.
"I think once you get the momentum going, it's actually strangely not that hard," the actor continued.
Yet Pattinson admitted, "The first day, the transition day, is kind of strange."
Though if projects are shooting so close together, the actor said, it can make filming jarring.
However, when it comes to Dune and Batman, Pattinson recalled finding some breathing room between the two due to their shooting schedules, which made his work less taxing.
"I had a little break after I finished June, so I had some time to go to Batman," he said.
Pattinson's Primetime hits cinemas on September 25.
