Lionel Richie lands in 'ICU' after St. Louis concert

When Lionel Richie was at the end of his concert at The Muny in Forest Park, St Louis, he became weary.

At least that is what TMZ reported while citing witnesses.

During the time, he belted out All Night Long. However, his condition, according to the report, began to deteriorate.

He asked for the team to bring him a chair amid the performance.

However, soon after the end of the show, he was taken to a local hospital in St Louis.

Though it is unclear what caused the musician to struggle physically during the show, he has been kept in the ICU.

According to TMZ, it is a precautionary measure while doctors searched for the reason, which the outlet speculates could be possible slight dehydration.

But he is expected to leave hospital on Thursday, the insiders said.

What is concerning is that this is the second hospitalisation of Richie in the last few months while performing.
